Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing ok?

So, today I thought I’d talk about how you can tell the difference between your Angel’s presence or is it just your imagination?

It can be tricky when you’re starting out on your spiritual path but there are ways to tell, by either an emotional or physical ‘feeling’, which is how most people experience their angels.

They can happen through our various senses: Vision, Hearing, Thoughts & Feelings.

We all receive angelic messages through these senses, but we all have at least one in particular of these we’re more attuned to. I think personally I’m more attuned to my gut feelings & repetitive thoughts, that knowing inside, that positive feeling that feels just right.

Here are angelic signs involving your feelings: -

Feel warm and cuddly, like a loving hug
It makes you feel safe, even if it’s warning you of danger
Often smell fragrances or scents of flowers or your deceased loved one’s distinct scent eg. Cigarette smoke or tobacco smells of their pipe
Leave an indent in the couch or bed, as if someone has just sat next to you
Causes air pressure or temperature changes
Feel like someone is touching your head, hair or shoulder
Cause you to be sleepy or hyper afterwards
Give you a deep belief that ‘this is real’
Create repetitious and consistent gut feelings to make a certain life change, or to take a certain step
Seem as though a familiar person is next to you, such as sensing a particular deceased loved one
Feels natural, as if the experience is coming to you freely

Here are the signs your guidance is only your imagination: -

Feels cold and pricky
Makes you afraid and panicky
Have no sense of smell associated with it, or an unfamiliar and unpleasant smell
Feels like someone is sexually fondling you (If this happens, immediately call upon Archangel Michael to clear the energy)
Cause the room to feel ice-cold
Gives you a sense of being all alone
Cause normal feelings to return quickly
Result in a deep belief that the experience wasn’t real
Cause gut feelings that urge you to change your life, but with different ideas that come from desperation, not from divine guidance.
Have no sense of familiarity with it
Feels forced, as if you’re willing the experience or guidance to happen

Next are angelic signs involving your thoughts: -

Involve concepts that are consistent and repetitive
Just having a knowing of how you can help solve a problem or help others
Be positive and empowering
Gives you explicit instructions about what step to take right now, and provides instruction for subsequent steps once you complete the first ones
Bring exciting ideas that energise you
Comes out of the blue or in response to prayer
Involves you taking human steps and doing some work
Rings true and makes sense
Be consistent with your natural interests, passions, or talents
Let's you know that a certain deceased loved one is near, without you seeing them

Here are the signs it’s only your imagination with your thoughts: -

Be random and ever-changing
Have a vague idea of how you could get rich or famous
Be discouraging and abusive
Have you thinking about worse-case scenarios
Consist of depressing or frightening thoughts
Results in ideas coming slowly, in response to worry
Be a get-rich-quick scheme
Seem hollow and ill-conceived
Be unrelated to anything you’ve previously done or been interested in
Have a focused motivation of desire to escape a current situation, rather than helping others
